About the Project

In 2025, CitySpring started as a genuine effort to facilitate better access to safe and affordable water supply for socioeconomically marginalized families living in informal settlements in Mumbai. Through a holistic approach that integrates community action with sustainable habits, we are committed to educating citizens about water collection, purification, and conservation, which in turn sets strong foundations for long-lasting solutions. 

At its heart, we hope to listen to the concerns of families living below the poverty line, whose everyday difficulties are constantly overlooked by governmental and non-governmental decision-making bodies. Through research, collaboration, and effective partnerships, we hope to resolve water scarcity by listening to and addressing their specific needs, while creating broader systemic change, one step at a time.
